Each year we have been asked to provide communications support for both the Crewe of Centaur parade and the Crewe of Gemini parade here in Shreveport, LA. This is one of our public service events in which we enjoy participating.
We have six mobile units in the parades with a driver and radio operator in each unit that are tasked with giving live position reports and any incident information as it happens. The parades are overseen by a control operator that is coordinating from the Caddo 911 Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
